When an international client came to us wanting to send product samples to consumers in the UK and across Europe, the brief was simple on the surface: get the product to the customer. The reality was considerably more complex.
The first challenge was the product itself. We sourced the samples, assessed the dimensions and fragility, and immediately identified a problem that most people overlook: if a consumer isn't home when a delivery arrives, the experience is over before it begins. A missed delivery card is not a brand moment. It is a disappointment.
So we designed a letterbox product.
Working with a specialist packaging supplier, we created a bespoke box — engineered to fit through a standard UK letterbox — that protected the product, presented the brand beautifully, and ensured that every consumer received their sample regardless of whether they were home. We designed the packaging, found the right manufacturer to produce it, selected a printer for the branded outer, and then identified a fulfilment partner capable of dispatching to both UK addresses and international destinations with customs duties paid — so consumers in Europe received their package without any unexpected charges or delays at the border.
The entire process — from enquiry through our client's website to dispatch confirmation — is managed by us. We receive the consumer enquiries, handle the communications, and coordinate dispatch through our fulfilment partners. The client's team focuses on their business. We handle the rest.
